AAVATtype
Personality science, made personal

Find the shape of you.

AAVATtype turns personality research into a profile precise enough to finally feel personal. Grounded in five different personality research traditions. It delivers a quiz-based profile, built to actually help you understand yourself. Truly understanding yourself is the foundation of your life. Know yourself first. Everything else follows.

You answer honestly for a few minutes. Your signature draws itself from those answers, and you get a first reading of what it says about you.

Our vision

You deserve to be the person who knows you best.

AAVATtype is built to make personality science useful and understandable for everyone. Many people underestimate the importance and the advantage of truly knowing yourself. AAVATtype is here to change that.

We take the parts of personality science that genuinely hold up and turn them into a profile built entirely from your own answers, in two stages: the first maps your shape, the second fills in what sits underneath it.

Six measured factors are only the start. From there it looks at how you form closeness, and at the difference between what drives you and what stops you. It looks at what you need in order to do well, and separately at what you value, because a life can meet your needs and still miss what matters to you. Each one comes from its own body of research rather than from stretching the first one further than it will go.

It is written in plain words, with the reasoning kept on the page rather than behind it. Built slowly and on purpose, so every line has to be something you recognise.

Grounded in HEXACO, attachment research, Gray's reinforcement sensitivity theory, self-determination theory and Schwartz's model of basic values.
