This explains what we collect, why we have it, and what you can ask us to do about it. It is written to be read, not to be got past.
AAVATtype is responsible for the information described here. For any question or request, email hello@aavattype.com. A person reads it.
We do not ask for your name, your date of birth, your location or any payment details on this page, and we do not collect special category information such as health data.
We do not use your information for anything else, and we do not build advertising profiles from it.
Your consent, given when you tick the box and send us your address. Where we rely on consent, you can withdraw it at any time and we will act on that promptly. Withdrawing consent does not affect anything we did lawfully before you withdrew it.
We do not sell your information. We do not rent, trade or swap lists. We do not share your information with advertisers. We do not pass it to anyone except the service providers described below, who act on our instructions.
This page sets no cookies. It runs no analytics, no advertising pixels and no tracking scripts, and it loads no fonts, scripts or images from any third party. Nothing about your visit is shared with another company.
Your email address is stored in the email service we use to send you messages, so that it can send them. That provider acts on our instructions and may store data on servers outside Australia. Where that happens we take reasonable steps to ensure your information is handled to a standard comparable to the one described here.
Until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete it, whichever comes first. If you do neither, we keep it while the product is being built and for a reasonable period afterwards, and we will not keep it indefinitely for no reason.
We take reasonable steps to protect your information from loss, misuse and unauthorised access. No system is perfect, and we will not claim otherwise. If something happens that puts your information at serious risk, we will tell you and the relevant regulator as the law requires.
Depending on where you live you may also have the right to object to certain uses, to ask us to restrict them, or to receive your information in a portable form. Ask and we will help rather than making you prove a right first.
A profile is generated automatically from the answers you give. It produces a description of you and nothing more. It is not used to make any decision that has a legal effect on you or anything similarly significant, and it should never be used by anyone else to do so.
AAVATtype is not intended for anyone under 16, and we do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 16. If you believe a child has given us their details, email us and we will delete them.
Tell us first and we will try to put it right. If you are in Australia and you are still not satisfied, you can complain to the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner. If you are in the UK or the EU, you can complain to your local data protection authority.
We will update this page and the date at the top. If a change materially affects how we use information you have already given us, we will tell you rather than relying on you noticing.
